A MASSIVE, TOP QUALITY 6-1/2" Megalodon tooth - an upper jaw A1 anterior tooth from So. Carolina. A January Fossil of the Month. An attractive gray - bronze colored crown. Highest quality enamel. The black bourlette is large and 80% complete. The serrations are razor sharp and nearly complete with an excellent tip serration. Incredible serrations for a BIG Megalodon tooth. Two Top Quality Scyphocrinites elegans crinoids from Alnif, southeastern Morocco. The Scyphocrinites crinoid was a floating variety which was attached to a holdfast air bladder that supported multiple stems and calyx ("flower"). This large crinoid has a bulbous calyx with incredible detail and the calyxs are large.  These crinoids make fantastic display pieces. A Top Quality Triceratops horridus nasal horn section from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. An October Fossil of the Month. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek and Lance Creek formations which is know for three horns and the large frill protecting its neck. A complete nasal horn. This is an exceptional nasal horn with excellent detail preserved. You can see all of the natural blood grooves around the surface of the horn and the skull bone is attached to the base of the horn and it is perfectly preserved (see photo). A rare Top Quality Triceratops horridus hoof core (pes claw) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. An October Fossil of the Month. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek and Lance Creek formations which is know for three horns and a large frill protecting its neck. This adult hoof core has exceptional detail preserved and excellent color & patina. Complete specimen. Note - Triceratops hoof cores are generally smaller than Hadrosaur, have a very rugous surface, have a characteristeristic "shallow ledge" on the under side, have less height than Hadrosaur, and are much more difficult to find. This hoof core has all of the correct features is is incredibly preserved. There is a small repair to the right hoof "wing" end. Legally collected on private land in Carter Co., Montana. Authenticity guaranteed. True Triceratops hoof cores are difficult to locate, and this is an excellent specimen!
