A Top Quality Lambeosaur (Parasaurolophus) maxilla from the late Cretaceous (Judith River Fm.) of North America. An April Fossil of the Month. This is a complete upper jaw containing 100s exposed teeth. Parasaurolophus is a lambeosaur (crested) hadrosaur or "duck-bill" from the Judith River Formation in Montana. The maxilla possessed 100s teeth that were in rows of teeth which acted as conveyor belt to maintain a chewing surface to cut and grind their food. Bone quality is excellent. This hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur was found in the Horseshoe Canyon Formation in Alberta. The maxilla possessed 100s teeth that were in rows of teeth which acted as conveyor belt to maintain a chewing surface to cut and grind their food. A rare High Quality juvenile Hypacrosaurus stebingeri lower jaw (dentary) section from the late Cretaceous (Two Medicine Fm.) of North America. This jaw section contains ~ 3 dozen exposed teeth. Hypacrosaurus is a lambeosaur (crested) hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Two Medicine formation. They possessed ~300 teeth that were in columns of five teeth each which acted as conveyor belt to maintain a large chewing surface to cut and grind their food. This specimen is a section of the lower jaw includes 20 columns of teeth. Bone quality is very good. Cracks are repaired. Legally collected on private land in the Two Medicine Fm., Browning, Montana. A rare Top Quality Edmontosaurus annectens lower jaw from the late Cretaceous of North America. This lower jaw (dentary) section is ~75% complete - missing the very back of the jaw which eroded away. The delicate front of the jaw is 100% complete. Edmontosaurus is a very large hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. They possessed ~300 teeth that were in columns of five teeth each which acted as conveyor belt to maintain a large chewing surface to cut and grind their food. Note - the three in the first photo were found with this jaw and they are placed. There are a couple of small teeth that are still attached to the jaw. Bone quality and color iis very good. Cracks are stabilized in this jaw. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Harding Co., So. Dakota.
