    An EXTRA LARGE, 6-5/16" Top Quality Megalodon tooth - an upper jaw anterior tooth from the Ashepoo River, So. Carolina. A September Fossil of the Month. An excellent medium brown colored crown. Highest quality enamel. The dark brown bourlette is large and 100% complete. Fantastic color. The serrations are razor sharp. The root is complete and nicely articulated with a tan color and typical hydration cracks.     An ultra rare, BIG Top Quality Classic Red Site Otodus (Carcharocles) megalodon from the Meherrin River, North Carolina. This Meg is an incredible upper jaw anterior tooth. A September Fossil of the Month. NC001 has copper-red color. Fantastic red color! The enamel is the high quality with exceptional gloss. The serrations are essentially complete with an excllent tip serration. Bourlette is brown and mostly dentin layer. The root is exceptionally wide (5-1/4") and complete. It weighs 1-1/4 pounds. A well preserved tooth. Note - there is a strip of serrations on the right side that has been professionally restored. You rarely see a BIG copper red colored Megalodon tooth that has a quality crown and serrations and a complete root - a top tooth from this site! NO repair or restoration. This Megalodon has an excellent brown & green colored crown. The bourlette is a tan & brown and 100% complete. The root is a light brown and complete with repair. Incredible color! Highest quality enamel. The bourlette is excellent and 100% complete. The serrations are extra large and razor sharp with a damaged tip serration. Excellent serrations for a big Meg! The root is nicely articulated and extra wide with no hydration cracks. Note - the left root corner was repaired. This Megalodon has an incredible light brown colored crown. The bourlette is a white color and the root is a nice white & tan color and complete. Great color! High quality enamel. The bourlette is excellent and 100% complete. The serrations are razor sharp and 100% complete with an excellent tip serration. The root has a natural crack, but it does not extend through the crown.
