    An Ultra Rare EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Tyrannosaurus rex tooth. Another August 2018 Fossil of the Month. This Rex crown measures 4-1/2" (straightline) and is thick (1-9/16") - a massive Rex tooth. The enamel is very high quality and a rich dark brown color. Good posterior and anterior serrations with a small amount of natural tip wear. An extra wide base. This is a big and heavy tooth. Note - this tooth was cracked in a freeze cycle as evidenced by the cracks in the top half of the tooth. The prepator did a exceptional job prepping this tooth and is rock solid now. A small area of the cutting edge was rebuilt about midway on both the anterior and posterior sides. Excellent overall condition for a big Rex tooth. A very special tooth!  T-Rex was the apex during the late Cretaceous with massive teeth capable of crushing its prey.     A GEM, 5-3/4" ULTRA RARE Caribbean Megalodon tooth - an upper jaw ANTERIOR tooth. Another August 2018 Fossil of the Month offering. This Megalodon tooth has an incredible light creamy tan colored crown with interesting deep peach colors and light charcoal gray patterning. Highest quality enamel with no hydration cracks. Exceptional color! The bourlette is large and perfect. The serrations are razor sharp with an exceptional big tip serration. PERFECT serrations which is exceptional for a big Meg! The root is an excellent creamy golden tan color with no hydration cracks. A very wide root. Note - there is a small area at the base of the right root lobe which was cut and rebuilt. Otherwise, a perfect tooth. This Megalodon was found in a limestone quarry in the Caribbean (Miocene age). This Megalodon has an incredible blue & tan colored crown with a brown bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Exceptional color! The bourlette looks great, but is missing the enamel veneer.     A beautifully prepared, TOP QUALITY Walliserops trifurcatus trilobite, the "trident Comura". Another November Fossil of the Month and one of the collector's favorite spiny trilobites. Walliserops trifurcatus is an unusual looking species with three rows of of spines run down its back and a trident-like fork extending from the front of the cephalon. A very difficult difficult species to prepare. Excellent shell and spine preservation. Compound eyes are very good. Good size. A rare species!
