This Megalodon has an excellent tan &  light red-brown and tan & brown bourlette color. The back of the crown has incredible color patterning. Highest quality enamel. Exceptional color! The bourlette is large and 98% complete. The serrations are razor sharp and complete with an excellent tip serration. Note the two large cutting edge waves at the base of the crown.     An ultra rare GEM QUALITY, Classic Peruvian Megalodon tooth from the Ocucate area of Peru (Miocene age). A January Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an excellent dark tan colored crown. The bourlette is light tan and 100% complete. The root is a light tan and complete. Incredible color! Highest quality enamel. The bourlette is excellent and 100% complete. The serrations are extra large and razor sharp with an excellent tip serration. Exceptional serrations -100% complete! The root is nicely articulated with a very small hydration crack.     A rare MONSTER sized, 6-5/8" Top Quality Megalodon tooth - an upper jaw anterior tooth from the Broad River, So. Carolina. A December Fossil of the Month. An excellent BLACK to dark Charcoal Gray colored crown. Very good quality enamel. The black bourlette is large and complete with mostly dentin layer. The serrations and tip serration are worn, but all serrations are visible (see close up photo). The root is complete with a black color and typical hydration cracks. An extra wide root. Note - enamel peel was professionally repaired in the very center of the front and rear. Root and serrated edge is 100% original. So, the length is 100% true. This Megalodon tooth has an incredible light creamy tan colored crown with light charcoal patterns and a light tan bourlette. Highest quality enamel with no hydration cracks. Excellent color! The bourlette is perfect. The serrations are razor sharp including the big tip serration. Excellent serrations! The root is an excellent creamy tan color with no hydration cracks.
