A Top Quality Eurypterus lacustris, the "Sea Scorpion", from Buffalo, New York. A November Fossil of the Month. This is a spooky looking arthropod that are related to arachnids, such as, the Horseshoe crab. It was found in the Williamsville Fm., Bertie Group of western New York and it is Silurian age (430 mya). A complete specimen that is nicely displayed on shale matirx. An rare , Top Quality lower jaw symphyseal  Notorhynchus tooth - the Sevengill Cow shark, from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. A February Fossil of the Month. This tooth has a rich tan crown with a tan root. 11 main cusps (complete). Incredible color and preservation. These are Miocene age, Pungo River Formation teeth. A Perfect tooth. A very rare Top Quality, Allosaurus fragilis toe claw (pes claw). A January Fossil of the Month. This Allosaurus toe claw measures 3-1/16". Highest quality bone. Great rich black - brown color. A rare Top Quality, Allosaurus fragilis  tooth. This Allosaurus crown measures 1-3/4" and it remains on its original Morrison Fm. matrix. The enamel is highest quality. Great rich dark brown color. Excellent serrations. Great overall condition and serrations. No restoration. Allosaurus was the apex predator during the late Jurassic with large teeth designed to slash predators. "The Best of West Java".  An ultra rare EXTRA LARGE, TOP QUALITY 6" Megalodon - upper jaw tooth from West Java, Indonesia. A January Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an excellent tan &  dark tan and go;den tan bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Excellent color! The bourlette is large and 100% complete. The serrations are razor sharp and complete with an excellent tip serration. Incredible serrations for a BIG Meg. A TOP QUALITY, 5-3/8" ULTRA RARE Caribbean Megalodon tooth - an upper jaw tooth. A November Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon tooth has an incredible light creamy tan colored crown with light charcoal patterns and a light tan bourlette. Highest quality enamel with no hydration cracks. Excellent color! The bourlette is perfect. The serrations are razor sharp including the big tip serration. Excellent serrations! The root is an excellent creamy tan color with no hydration cracks. Note - there was a saw cut to the root which was professionally repaired. Otherwise, a perfect tooth. This Megalodon was found in a limestone quarry in the Caribbean (Miocene age). This is an incredible Caribbean Meg tooth. One of finest examples of an ultra rare Caribbean Megalodon tooth that I have seen considering the shape, color, and preservation.
