The Echinoid Display Collection. Three complete and five partial Top Quality Archeocidaris sp. sea urchins from Brown Co., Texas. An October Fossil of the Month. This is an incredible Pennsylvanian age sea urchin plate (280 MYA). Exceptional preservation. Note - all spines are associated and found attached. Extremely rare and a requiring extensive preparation to expose them properly.  Authenticity guaranteed. A fantastic rare display specimen from a special collection of echinoids. Ones of my favorites. An excellent display piece on matrix - plate size is 15 x 11" (height) . Note - this plate comes with a sturdy custom designed wooden stand (as shown). This specimen weighs 7.5 lbs and international customers will require shipping supplement.
