    An Ultra Rare EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Tyrannosaurus rex tooth. Another August 2018 Fossil of the Month. This Rex crown measures 4-1/2" (straightline) and is thick (1-9/16") - a massive Rex tooth. The enamel is very high quality and a rich dark brown color. Good posterior and anterior serrations with a small amount of natural tip wear. An extra wide base. This is a big and heavy tooth. Note - this tooth was cracked in a freeze cycle as evidenced by the cracks in the top half of the tooth. The prepator did a exceptional job prepping this tooth and is rock solid now. A small area of the cutting edge was rebuilt about midway on both the anterior and posterior sides. This Megalodon tooth has an incredible light tan colored crown with an excellent brown bourlette. Highest quality enamel with essentially no hydration cracks! Exceptional color. The serrations are large and razor sharp with an excellent tip serration. Fantastic serrations for a BIG Meg! The root is exceptional - an excellent tan color, essentially no hydration cracks, and absolutely complete. The finest root that I have seen on a BIG Megalodon tooth. This Megalodon was found in the Yorktown Formation, Lee Creek mine, NC (Pliocene age = 5 MYA). Rarely do you see a 6" Lee Creek Megalodon tooth and rarely are they high quality. This tooth is from an old collection. One of the finest examples of a 6"+ classic upper jaw anterior Lee Creek Megs considering the shape, color, and preservation. Another August 2018 Fossil of the Month offering. This Megalodon tooth has an incredible light creamy tan colored crown with interesting deep peach colors and light charcoal gray patterning. Highest quality enamel with no hydration cracks. Exceptional color! The bourlette is large and perfect. The serrations are razor sharp with an exceptional big tip serration. PERFECT serrations which is exceptional for a big Meg! The root is an excellent creamy golden tan color with no hydration cracks. A very wide root.     A HIGH QUALITY ~6" Carcharodontosaurus tooth from Morocco. Our November Fossil of the Month. This tooth is huge! An excellent brown color. High quality enamel with some enamel missing. Excellent overall quality and preservation. Exceptional anterior and good posterior serrations. Excellent growth waves near cutting edge. Large position tooth in jaw - extra wide crown. You can see a faint crack parallel to the anterior serrations on one side only, but no breaks. Absolutely no cracks running across the tooth. It has not been filled or painted. This is an all natural tooth which is quite rare for a XXL Carch tooth. A Museum Quality EXTRA LARGE tooth.
