    An Ultra Rare, Top Quality, LARGE Anzu wyleii hand (manus) claw from the Hell Creek Fm. of SE Montana. Another July 2019 Fossil of the Month. Anzu is referred to as the "Chicken from Hell" as it grew to 11 feet long and 600 lbs. An exceptional manus claw. High quality rich brown color and patina. This specimen has incredible perservation with fantastic surfaces - no pitting, nicks, wear or crushing - superb surface articulation! The claw profiles are straight as an arrow.The proximal end is exceptional. This is a killer claw! There is some professional restoration which is typical for a big Anzu wyleii manus claw. The tip has a small section repaired - about 1/4" at the largest point (see photos - slight change in color). A few cracks were stabilized which is also typical.  An incedible quality, collector's claw. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Garfield Co., Montana. Museum Quality.   5. Carcharocles megalodon - Caribbean

    An ULTRA RARE, 5-13/16"  Caribbean Megalodon tooth - an upper jaw PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth. A March 2019 Fossil of the Month offering. This Megalodon tooth has an incredible light creamy tan colored crown with light charcoal gray patterning. Highest quality enamel with very small hydration cracks. Exceptional color! The bourlette is large and perfect. The serrations are razor sharp including the big tip serration. Excellent serrations for a big Meg! The root is an excellent creamy tan color with no hydration cracks. An extra wide root (4-13/16" wide). Great symmetry. There are two small areas of serrations on the left side of the tooth were damaged and professionlly restored. The damaged area was restricted to the tooth edge only. You can see the charcoal gray patterning patterning extending to the edge of the enamel. Otherwise, a near perfect tooth. Note - See final two photos for marked area of repair and a prior to repair photo. CA01 is an excellent Meg tooth.This Megalodon was found in a limestone quarry in the Caribbean (Miocene age). This is an incredible, massive 5-13/16" Caribbean Megalodon tooth. One of finest examples of an ultra rare Caribbean Megalodon tooth that I have seen considering the shape, color, and preservation.     A HIGH QUALITY ~6" Carcharodontosaurus tooth Large Carcharodontosaurus tooth from the Kem-Kem deposits of Morocco. Our November Fossil of the Month. This tooth is huge! An excellent brown color. High quality enamel with some enamel missing. Excellent overall quality and preservation. Exceptional anterior and good posterior serrations. Excellent growth waves near cutting edge. Large position tooth in jaw - extra wide crown. You can see a faint crack parallel to the anterior serrations on one side only, but no breaks. Absolutely no cracks running across the tooth. It has not been filled or painted. No repair or restoration. This is an all natural tooth which is quite rare for a XXL Carch tooth. A Museum Quality EXTRA LARGE tooth.
