    A fantastic, top quality, Mammuthus primigenius, Woolly Mammoth tusk from Siberia. An August 2019 Fossil of the Month. This tusk is a manageable size at 47” straight line measurement (52" on the curve). It is a tusk of a sub-adult mammoth which lived in the late Pleistocene Ice Age some 28,000 plus years ago. This is a complete tusk with rich colors of natural browns, blues, and charcoal grays which has been properly dried and sealed. The enamel shows exceptional detail. Both ends are completely intact and complete. No repair or restoration. No worries about stability of this tusk. The tusk makes a wonderful display for home or office and comes with the wooden stands shown.     A rare, Top Quality, LARGE Anzu wyliei hand (manus) claw from the Hell Creek Fm. of SE Montana. A December 2019 Fossil of the Month. Anzu is an extra large oviraptor and referred to as the "Chicken from Hell". This is an  exceptional manus claw. Highest quality rich red-brown color & tan and exceptional patina. Fantastic color! This specimen has incredible perservation with exceptional surfaces - no nicks or wear with minor pitting on the proximal end only - superb surface articulation!     A rare Top Quality, BIG CLASSIC Chile Megalodon tooth from the phosphate layer, Bahia Inglesa Fm., Caldera area, Chile. This tooth is nicely displayed on its original phosphorite matrix. Note - the pebbly phosphorite makes an interesting base which elevates the tip about 15 degress for a great display. A gorgeous light tan colored crown with no enamel peel. High quality enamel with very light mineral staining (as shown). The bourlette is an excellent deep mahogany brown color, large and 85% complete. The serrations are razor sharp and complete with an excellent tip serration. The root is rich red-brown color, extra wide (5") with excellent surface articulation, and 100% complete. Fantastic color. Exceptional "eye appeal". Great symmetry. No repair or restoration.     A Big, Top Quality Tyrannosaurus rex tooth from a large adult Rex. A December 2019 Fossil of the Month. This stocky Rex crown measures 2-1/8" (straight line) and is very thick for its size (1-1/8"). The enamel is highest quality. Great rich dark chocolate brown color. Good serrations on the anterior and exceptional serrations on the posterior side. There is a very small wear facet on the tip and extends to the anterior carina which is typical for a adult tooth from opposing teeth wear. No crack or breaks. No repair or restoration. A 100% natural tooth! Fantastic overall condition with incredible serrations for a large Rex tooth.     An Ultra Rare, Top Quality, LARGE Anzu wyliei hand (manus) claw from the Hell Creek Fm. of SE Montana. Another July 2019 Fossil of the Month. Anzu, a giant oviraptor,  is referred to as the "Chicken from Hell" as it grew to 11 feet long and 600 lbs. An exceptional manus claw. High quality rich brown color and patina. This specimen has incredible perservation with fantastic surfaces - no pitting, nicks, wear or crushing - superb surface articulation! The claw profiles are straight as an arrow.The proximal end is exceptional. This is a killer claw! There is some professional restoration which is typical for a big Anzu wyliei manus claw. The tip has a small section repaired - about 1/4" at the largest point (see photos - slight change in color). A few cracks were stabilized which is also typical.  An incedible quality, collector's claw. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Garfield Co., Montana. Museum Quality. Another March 2019 Fossil for the Month Offering. Pachychephalosaurus is the dinosaur which is famous for its large domed head surrounded by these spikes and nodes. This spike has excellent color / patina with exceptional surface articulation. It is a complete specimen with no cracks. Note -  the excellent articulated skull surface on the base of the node. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Powder River Co., Montana. An excellent and rare collector's quality Pachychephalosaurus node.
