An ultra rare Top Quality, LARGE Allosaurus fragilis hand claw (manus claw). A February Fossil of the Month. This Allosaurus manus claw measures 5-7/8". Good quality bone. Nice rich gray - brown color. Excellent overall condition. Tip restoration and minor crack fill. No restoration. Allosaurus was the apex predator during the late Jurassic. Legally collected in 1980 on private land in the Morrison Fm., Moffat Co., Colorado. Authenticity guaranteed. An excellent specimen!  Note -  A Riker display frame is included.

A Top Quality, Triceratops horridus brow horn from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. A January Fossil of the Month. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell and Lance Creek Formations. This is a special horn with exceptional detail preserved with excellent color and natural patina. Fantastic surface articulation. You can see all of the natural blood grooves around the surface of the horn. The preparation of the horn was fairly basic and simple with minor crack repair. No extensive repair or restoration. An ultra rare, top quality 5-3/4" Sharktooth Hill Megalodon tooth found in the Round Mountain Silt near Bakersfield, California. A location that produces very few Megalodon teeth and one of the toughest Megs to locate. This tooth was found in the Ernst West quarry. An October Fossil of the Month.  This Megalodon tooth has the highest quality enamel with a great Blue & Tan color. The bourlette is a brown color and nearly complete. The root is nicely articulated and complete. The serrations are complete with a good tip serration - incredible serrations for a large Sharktooth Hill Meg tooth! This is a middle Miocene Meg. Note - the grooves on the root ends and the small root "ears" at the top of the root - a Miocene Meg tooth feature!  Note - a 3/8" enamel section pooped off and was reattached on the right side (1/2" from the root). You do not see large middle Miocene Sharktooth Hill Megs from Bakersfield, California very often. One of the rarest Megs! Authenticity guaranteed. An incredible Museum Quality Sharktooth Hill Megalodon tooth that came out of a 25 year old old collection!  A custom display stand is included.
