These teeth are noted for their wide triangular crowns which are fully serrated. The largest examples of Otodus megalodon teeth exceed 7 inches in length and are extremely rare. Body lengths most likely exceeded 50 foot. The undisputed king of the Miocene - Pliocene seas (4-20 million years ago). Please note that these Megalodon teeth have been carefully selected and are of the highest quality. These teeth will have full roots, tips, well defined (sharp) serrations , enamel, and bourrelet with all having little to no damage. We sell top quality Megalodon teeth at reasonable prices. This Megalodon has an excellent tan & light red-brown and tan & brown bourlette color. The back of the crown has incredible color patterning. Highest quality enamel. Exceptional color! The bourlette is large and 98% complete. The serrations are razor sharp and complete with an excellent "needle-like" tip serration. Note the two large cutting edge waves at the base of the crown. An EXTRA LARGE ultra rare, Top Quality Red Site Otodus megalodon tooth from the Meherrin River, North Carolina. An August Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon is a BIG upper jaw anterior tooth from the Meherrin River copper-red site. Exceptional rich copper red color. The enamel is the highest quality, and there is a cool bite mark on the display side (see the 5th photo). The serrations are large, razor sharp, and essentially complete with a good tip serration. Bourlette is extra large and brown - dentin layer. The root is wide & complete. A Pliocene Meg tooth.
