A Top Quality Triceratops horridus nasal horn section from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. An October Fossil of the Month. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek and Lance Creek formations which is know for three horns and the large frill protecting its neck. A complete nasal horn. This is an exceptional nasal horn with excellent detail preserved. You can see all of the natural blood grooves around the surface of the horn and the skull bone is attached to the base of the horn and it is perfectly preserved (see photo). An ultra rare Top Quality Stegoceras validum dome (frontoparietal skull bone) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. An April Fossil of the Month. Stegoceras is a smaller sized pachycephalosaurid dinosaur, and like Pachycephalosaurus, it is a dinosaur which is famous for its large domed head surrounded by spikes. This is excellent quality juvenile dome with good color / patina. No cracks or restoration. There is a small sheer on the left side that occured prior to fossilization since it has the natural patina. Otherwise a complete dome. An ultra rare Stegoceras dome!  Legally collected on private land in the Judith River Fm., Hill Co., Montana. An excellent collector's quality Stegoceras dome. Comes with a Riker display case. Pachychephalosaurus is the dinosaur which is famous for its large domed head surrounded by these spikes and nodes. These spikes and nodes were part of the Pachy skull. This spike has exceptional color / patina. The blood grooves are still present in the bone. It is a complete specimen with no cracks or breaks. Note - the excellent articulated skull surface on the base of the spike. A Top Quality, Ultra Rare Pachychephalosaurus wyomingensis node cluster from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Pachychephalosaurus is the dinosaur which is famous for its large domed head surrounded by these spikes and nodes. These spikes and nodes were part of the skull. This is a node cluster with five nodes (three complete and two partial nodes). This node cluster has excellent color / patina with exceptional surface articulation. The blood grooves are still present in the bone. It is a complete specimen with no cracks or breaks. Note - the excellent articulated skull surface on the base of the node. A rare, Top Quality juvenile Columbian Mammoth (Mammuthus columbi), an early elephant molar found in Patricio Co., Texas.  Mammoths were present in this area during the Late Pleistocene Ice Age. Fantastic natural color! An excellent molar with a nicely articulated chewing surface. The molar chewing surface is 3-1/2" in length. A complete root. Completely fossilized. A rare, Top Quality Megalodon - upper jaw anterior tooth from West Java, Indonesia - new site. A June Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an incredible BLACK tooth with some light gray swirls and an excellent JET BLACK colored bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Excellent color! The bourlette is large and 98% complete. The serrations are razor sharp and complete with an excellent tip serration. Exceptional serrations. A rare, EXTRA LARGE, GEM Quality Anzu wyliei hand (manus) claw from the Hell Creek Fm. of SE Montana. A February Fossil of the Month. Anzu is referred to as the "Chicken from Hell". A fantastic manus claw. This is 1st manus claw which is largest and most robust; often referred as the "thumb". Excellent rich brown color and patina. This specimen has incredible preservation - no pitting, nicks or wear. All surfaces are fantasic - very rare. Note - the tip was professionally restored which is typical for most Hell Creek claws. The repair is quite small with the repaired area being 5 mm on the right facing side of the tip. On the left facing side of tip, it is 1-2 mm.
