A very rare Triceratops horridus jaw section (maxilla section) with teeth from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek and Lance Creek formations which is know for three horns and a large frill protecting its neck. This is a great jaw section with good detail preserved and a great chocolate brown color and patina. This jaw has ~10 teeth visible. Triceratops bones are more difficult to find, and Triceratops jaws are rarely found with teeth in situ. Typically teeth are lost prior to fossilization. There is some crack fill. No restoration. A rare, High Quality, 6-1/2" Megalodon tooth - an upper jaw tooth from South Carolina. An excellent Dark Gray colored crown. High quality enamel. The bourlette is a nice dark brown color. The serrations are large and sharp. The root is charcoal color, nicely articulated, extra wide (5-1/8"), and complete with typical cracks. No repair or restoration. A rare, Top Quality Anzu wyliei hand (manus) claw from the Hell Creek Fm. of So. Dakota. Anzu is referred to as the "Chicken from Hell". An excellent manus claw - the "thumb" claw. A Top Quality Tyrannosaurus rex  tooth. This tooth measures 1-9/16".  This is the first dentary tooth. The enamel has excellent color and patina. Excellent anterior and posterior serrations. Base cross-section is a wide oval. One crack. No restoration. T-Rex was the apex during the late Cretaceous with massive teeth capable of crushing its prey. A Top Quality Tyrannosaur tooth from the late Cretaceous (Campanian) in northern North America. An October Fossil of the Month. Please note that this tooth could Gorgosaurus or Daspletosaurus - see Detailed Discussion below. This tooth measures 2-3/8" - an excellent Tyrannosaur tooth. The enamel is high quality with excellent color. Anterior serrations and posterior serrations are excellent. Serrated to the tip. Note - the top has some minor planting etching and there is one natural wear facet on the side (very typical for the Campanian Tyrannosaurs). No cracks, repair or restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Judith River Fm., McCone Co., Montana. Probably an excellent Gorgosaurus tooth based on size and roundness of the tooth cross-section. An EXTRA LARGE, rare Top Quality Camarasaurus tooth, a late Jurassic sauropod tooth from the Morrison Fm. A September Fossil of the Month. Camarasaurus had robust spoon shaped teeth to tear tough vegetation. This tooth is complete with incredible surfaces. The enamel is highest quality. Great rich black color. Exceptional enamel articulation. There was a small repair at the base of the root only. No repair or restoration to the crown. A LARGE, Top Quality, Allosaurus fragilis  tooth from the Morrison Fm. This Allosaurus crown measures 1-13/16". The enamel is high quality. Great rich dark brown color. A TOP Quality, Megalodon  - lower jaw anterior tooth from West Java, Indonesia. This Megalodon has a tan crown and a gold & brown colored bourlette. Highest quality enamel.
