An ultra rare Top Quality, Stegosaurus plate. A February Fossil of the Month. This Stegosaurus plate is good sized and measures 17-1/2" wide x 13" high. The bone quality is exceptional with a black color. Excellent overall condition. There is limited crack fill, but there is no restoration. This is a large and all natural specimen. Stegosaurus was an iconic quadruped herbivore recognized by these plates lining its neck, back and tail during the late Jurassic. Legally collected on private land in the Morrison Fm., Bone Cabin Quarry, Albany Co., Wyoming. Authenticity guaranteed. A GEM Quality Zuul crurivastator, an Ankylosaur, osteoderm or scute (bony armor plate) from the late Cretaceous of North America. An August Fossil of the Month. This Campanian age Ankylosaur grew to 20 feet and 6000 pounds, and a body covered with this bony armor. The bone exhibits exceptional quality with excellent color and patina. This specimen is incredible - absolutely complete with excellent raised keel. Scute has minor crack fill. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Judith River Fm. A Top Quality Tyrannosaurus rex  tooth. This tooth measures 2-1/4".  This is a fat, chunky tooth. The enamel has excellent color and patina. Excellent anterior and posterior serrations. Base cross-section is a wide oval. Minor crack fill. No restoration. T-Rex was the apex during the late Cretaceous with massive teeth capable of crushing its prey. A rare, LARGE Top Quality Anzu wyliei hand (manus) claw from the Hell Creek Fm. of So. Dakota. A February Fossil of the Month. Anzu is referred to as the "Chicken from Hell". An excellent manus claw - this one is the "thumb" claw. Excellent rich tan color with charcoal highlights and patina. This specimen has excellent perservation - no pitting, nicks or wear. A rare, EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality CLASSIC Chile Megalodon tooth from the phophate layer, Bahia Inglesa Fm., Caldera area, Chile. An April Fossil of the Month.  A gorgeous light tan colored crown with no enamel peel. Highest quality enamel. The bourlette is an excellent orange & brown color and nearly complete. The serrations are razor sharp with a good tip and nearly complete. The root is excellent dark red-brown color with excellent articulation, extra large, and 100% complete. Root is 5-1/16" wide and 1.5'' thick. Tooth weighs 1 lb and 6 oz. This is a massive tooth.  Note - root hydration cracks were filled plus two nearby spots of the bourlette were touched up. A rare, Top Quality Anzu sp. hand (manus) claw from the Hell Creek Fm. of So. Dakota. Anzu is referred to as the "Chicken from Hell". Note - this claw is from a second Anzu species which displays the strong horizontal ridges on a more robust proxinal end. An excellent manus claw. A rare, High Quality, 6-1/2" Megalodon tooth - an upper jaw tooth from South Carolina. An excellent Dark Gray colored crown. High quality enamel. The bourlette is a nice dark brown color.
