A rare, Top Quality pair of associated Denversaurus osteoderms (bony armor plate)  from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. An August Fossil of the Month. Ankylosaurus and Denversaurus, a Nodosaur, were the two Ankylosaurs present in the Hell Creek and Lance Creek Formations.  Two complete, associated osteoderms from the Nodosaur neck area (see photo of the HMNS Denversaurus skeleton). One osteoderm is a keel type and the second osteoderm is a peripherial edge type. You won't see these osteoderms very often. The bone is very good quality with great color and patina. Some crack fill. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Lance Creek Fm., Converse Co., Wyoming. Authenticity guaranteed. A rare, TOP QUALITY, Extra LargeTriceratops horridus hoof core (pes claw) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. A world class specimen. An April Fossil of the Month. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation which is known for three horns and a large frill protecting its neck. This adult hoof core has exceptional detail preserved and excellent color & patina. A WORLD CLASS size. Note -Triceratops hoof cores are generally smaller than Hadrosaur, have a very rugous surface, have a characteristeristic "shallow ledge" covering 40% of the under side, have less height than Hadrosaur, and are much more difficult to find. This hoof core has the correct features, is fantastically preserved, and has incredible size. One crack. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in Garfield Co., Montana. A GEM Quality Zuul crurivastator, an Ankylosaur, osteoderm or scute (bony armor plate) from the late Cretaceous of North America. An August Fossil of the Month. This Campanian age Ankylosaur grew to 20 feet and 6000 pounds, and a body covered with this bony armor. The bone exhibits exceptional quality with excellent color and patina. This specimen is incredible - absolutely complete with excellent raised keel. Scute has minor crack fill. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Judith River Fm. An ULTRA RARE Pachychephalosaurus wyomingensis skull section from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. A February Fossil of the Month. This is a post orbital skull section covered with 12+ spikes. Pachychephalosaurus is the dinosaur which is famous for its large domed head surrounded by these spikes and nodes. These spikes and nodes were part of the Pachy skull. This skull section has exceptional color and patina. Note the incredible blood grooves in the bone. It is a complete specimen with no cracks or breaks. Legally collected on private land in the Lance Creek Fm., Niobrara Co., Wyoming. A rare, LARGE Top Quality Anzu wyliei hand (manus) claw from the Hell Creek Fm. of So. Dakota. A February Fossil of the Month. Anzu is referred to as the "Chicken from Hell". An excellent manus claw - this one is the "thumb" claw. Excellent rich tan color with charcoal highlights and patina. This specimen has excellent perservation - no pitting, nicks or wear.
