A rare, High Quality, 6-1/2" Megalodon tooth - an upper jaw tooth from South Carolina. An excellent Dark Gray colored crown. High quality enamel. The bourlette is a nice dark brown color. A rare GEM QUALITY Basilosaurus cetoides, an Archaeocete whale tooth found in the Flint River, Georgia. An exceptional molar. An April Fossil of the Month. An excellent green colored crown and tan root. Nicely articulated. Incredible preservation!  Whales do not shed their teeth like the sharks so there teeth will wear with age. An Eocene age tooth (36 MYA) from the Ocala Limestone Fm.  No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. A great Archaeocete tooth from the Flint River, Georgia from an old collection. A Top Quality Lambeosaur (Parasaurolophus) maxilla from the late Cretaceous (Judith River Fm.) of North America. An April Fossil of the Month. This is a complete upper jaw containing 100s exposed teeth. Parasaurolophus is a lambeosaur (crested) hadrosaur or "duck-bill" from the Judith River Formation in Montana. The maxilla possessed 100s teeth that were in rows of teeth which acted as conveyor belt to maintain a chewing surface to cut and grind their food. Bone quality is excellent. Minor crack fill. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Judith River Fm., Fergus Co., Mpntana. A COLORFUL, LARGE, Top Quality Miocene-Pliocene Mastodon molar from northern Florida. An October Fossil of the Month. This is an extinct elephant ancestor that inhabited North America during the late Miocene to late Pliocene. This massive tooth has 4 large cusp rows with typical cusp wear. A LARGE, Top Quality Ankylosaurus osteoderm (bony armor plate) with a center keel from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. An August Fossil of the Month. Ankylosaurus magniventris was the largest Ankylosaur which grew to 30 feet and 17000 pounds, and a body covered with this bony armor. A complete body osteoderm plate with a central keel from an adult  Ankylosaurus. The bone quality is exceptional with excellent color and patina. Plus natural blood grooves cover the surface of this scute. There is one crack. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Walworth Co., So. A Top Quality Tyrannosaurus rex  tooth. This tooth measures 1-9/16".  This is a fat, chunky tooth. The enamel has excellent color and patina. Excellent anterior and posterior serrations. Base cross-section is a wide oval. Minor crack fill. No repair or restoration. T-Rex was the apex during the late Cretaceous with massive teeth capable of crushing its prey. An EXTRA LARGE, GEM QUALITY Ceratonurus sp. trilobite. Another collector's favorite spiny trilobite. A March Fossil of the Month. The preparation is German with all original colors and no restoration. Fourteen large spines fully exposed requiring many dozens of hours of air abrasion. You can see the natural bumps along the long spine were preserved. One of the most difficult species to prepare. Excellent shell and spine preservation. Large size. A rare species!
