  1. Hypselosaurus - Titanosaur - France
    $1,350.00
A large Hypselosaurus priscus (Titanosaur) egg on matrix. A January Fossil of the Month. This is a remount egg made with actual Hypselosaurus eggshells from the southern France nesting site, made to specification for this species, and is placed on a piece of matrix from the egg site. This egg was meticulously assembled to resemble a natural Hypselosaurus egg from a size and shape perspective. Unfortunately, the few natural eggs that are found at this site are typically crushed or severely compressed, and they are not very attractive due to overburden compression. Hypselosaurus is a medium sized Titanosaur from the Late Cretaceous (Maastrichtian age) approximately 70 MMya. Fround in the Vitrolles area, Basin d'Aix de Provence, France. Authenticity guaranteed.
