A rare, Top Quality Edmontosaurus annectens finger III from the late Cretaceous of North America. A May Fossil of the Month. Edmontosaurus is a very large hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. The finger includes two carpals and a manus claw. Edmontosaurus was mainly bipedal, but could walk on all four legs in search of food. As noted by the front leg size difference, Edmontosaurus could put little weight on them. This is finger III which is the only finger that has a true ungual. Excellent bone quality. Minor crack fill. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Harding Co., So. Baenidae were freshwater aquatic turtles that lived amongst the dinosaurs and are found in the Hell Creek formation. An ULTRA RARE, Top Quality Hexanchus griseus symphyseal tooth from the Caldera Basin of Chile. A May Fossil of ther Month. This is a slightly pathologic lower symphyseal jaw tooth (center tooth) with 7 large primary cusps on the left side and small cusps on the right side. Superb preservation and color. No repair or restoration. An excellent root - very unique & extremely difficult to find!  Authenticity guaranteed. A rare, Top Quality, Echinorhinus blakei tooth (Bramble shark) from the Bahia Iglesa Fm. of Chile. A May Fossil of the Month. This tooth is exceptionally clean and sharp with all cusps present. This Bramble shark tooth is from a late Miocene deposit. Beautiful color and fantastic preservation! Authenticity guaranteed. A difficult to find species. My best remaining Bramble tooth.

A rare, TOP QUALITY, Extra LargeTriceratops horridus hoof core (pes claw) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. A world class specimen. An April Fossil of the Month. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation which is known for three horns and a large frill protecting its neck. This adult hoof core has exceptional detail preserved and excellent color & patina. A WORLD CLASS size. Note -Triceratops hoof cores are generally smaller than Hadrosaur, have a very rugous surface, have a characteristeristic "shallow ledge" covering 40% of the under side, have less height than Hadrosaur, and are much more difficult to find. This hoof core has the correct features, is fantastically preserved, and has incredible size. One crack. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in Garfield Co., Montana.
