Authentic Dinosaur Bones

A rare Top Quality Edmontosaurus annectens lower jaw from the late Cretaceous of North America. This lower jaw (dentary) section is ~75% complete - missing the very back of the jaw which eroded away. The delicate front of the jaw is 100% complete. Edmontosaurus is a very large hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. They possessed ~300 teeth that were in columns of five teeth each which acted as conveyor belt to maintain a large chewing surface to cut and grind their food. Note - the three in the first photo were found with this jaw and they are placed. There are a couple of small teeth that are still attached to the jaw. Bone quality and color iis very good. Cracks are stabilized in this jaw. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Harding Co., So. Dakota. Pachychephalosaurus is the dinosaur which is famous for its large domed head surrounded by spikes. This ungual has exceptional color and patina. Overall an excellect pes ungual. Pachychephalosaurus is the dinosaur which is famous for its large domed head surrounded by these spikes and nodes. These spikes and nodes were part of the Pachy skull. An ultra rare, LARGE Top Quality Ankylosaurus osteoderm (bony armor plate) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. A January Fossil of the Month. Ankylosaurus magniventris was the largest Ankylosaur which grew to 30 feet and 17000 pounds, and a body covered with this bony armor. A complete body osteoderm plate from an adult Ankylosaurus with exceptional surface articulation. The bone is the best quality with excellent color and patina. A LARGE, Top Quality four piece Hadrosaur toe from the late Cretaceous of North America. This hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur was found in the Horseshoe Canyon Formation in Alberta. This is a non-associated set of toe bones from the outer toe (toe 3 - see diagram), and it consists of three toe bones (Phalanx 1 to 3) and a pes hoof core (ungual). Bone quality is very good. An EXTRA LARGE, High Quality Denversaurus schlessmani osteoderm (bony armor plate) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. An August Fossil of the Month. Denversaurus schlessmani was the Nodosaur which grew to 20 feet and 6000 pounds, and a body covered with this heavy bony armor. Nodosaur armor plates are thicker than the Ankylosaur plates. A rare Top Quality Camarasaurus metatarsal bone from the Morrison Fm. This juvenile Camarasaurus metatarsal measures 4-7/8". The bone is high quality. Excellent brown color and patina. Great overall condition with no restoration. Just basic crack fill. Camarasaurus was a medium-sized sauropod that lived during the late Jurassic. A Top Quality, Triceratops horridus toe bone (metatarsal) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek and Lance Creek formations which is know for three horns and the large frill protecting its neck. This is a great toe bone with excellent detail preserved and good color / patina. This is the metatarsal III bone. You can see the "mushroom" appearance of proximal ends which is a characteristic of Triceratops and distinguishes it from a Hadrosaur toe bone. Triceratops bones are more difficult to find. There is is a small amount of restoration on the lower condyle and normal crack fill. Legally collected on private land in Garfield Co., Montana. Authenticity guaranteed. A very rare Top Quality Struthiomimus altus foot (pes) claw (from toe III) from the late Cretaceous of North America. A December Fossil of the Month. Struthiomimus is a long legged, bipedal, toothless dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. The Struthiomimus means "ostrich mimic" which best describes this species.
