A Devonian sea floor slab with a Eldredgops (Phacops) rana milleri trilobite from the Silica Shale Formation of Ohio. The also three large pyrite replaced Paraspirifer bownockeri brachiopods, three Mucrospirifer mucronatus brachiopods, and other specimens. The Eldredgops has excellent detail on the compound eyes - very well preserved. The quality of the Silica Shale Fm. fossils are incredible. A rare sea floor specimen from the Middle Devonian (380 mya), Silica Shale Fm. from Lucas Co., Ohio. You don't see multi-species slabs for sale. A Museum Quality specimen. An ULTRA Rare, TOP QUALITY Parotodus benedeni tooth from Sharktooth Hill, near Bakersfield California. A December 2022 Fossil of the Month. This tooth has a highly desirable light tan enamel and a very massive root. This Parotodus benedeni tooth remains mounted on the original Round Mountain Silt matrix and it is sitting on a chunk of whale bone. The crown enamel has very good luster and very sharp edges. Highest quality enamel! Note -  a small (~1/8") tip repair was professionally done.  A very difficult tooth to locate and an EXCEPTIONAL Collector's tooth! A fantastic green colored crown with tan color approaching the tip, and the serration color fades to a charcoal gray color. Very cool colors! High quality enamel. A GEM quality Chubutensis tooth - an upper jaw anterior tooth from So. Carolina. Otodus chubutensis or Chubutensis is the extinct ancestor of the Megalodon shark. An August Fossil of the Month. An incredible blue & tan colored crown. Top quality enamel. The brown bourlette is large and complete. Sharp serrations are near complete (only 2 partially damaged) and an excellent tip serration. The root is brown colored and complete with no hydration cracks.
