An EXTRA LARGE, High Quality Ankylosaurus osteoderm (bony armor plate) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. An August Fossil of the Month. Ankylosaurus and Denversaurus, a Nodosaur, were the two Ankylosaurs present in the Hell Creek and Lance Creek Formations.  A complete body osteoderm plate from an adult Ankylosaurus. A Top Quality, Classic Lee Creek Megalodon upper jaw tooth. This Megalodon has an incredible light tan colored crown with an excellent brown bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Exceptional color!  The serrations are razor sharp with an excellent needle-like tip serration. Serrations are just about 100% complete (1 with minor damage). The root is an excellent tan color with small hydration cracks and absolutely complete. A rare Top Quality Carcharomodus escheri, a "serrated Mako" shark tooth - upper jaw anterior tooth from the "De Kuilen" sand pit, Mill, The Netherlands. A July Fossil of the Month. The Carcharomodus escheri  was named as a new genus in 2015 based upon a crenulated cutting edge ("wavy serrations"), slender & distally inclined crown, and side cusplets. This is a "Blue" layer tooth which are know for the highest preservation and best color - rarely seen outside of Europe. This tooth has excellent color and preservation. Sharp cutting edge. A LARGE, Rare Basilosaurus isis premolar tooth from Morocco. Basilosaurus was in the Basilosauridae family of early whales. An August Fossil of the Month. Note - this tooth is a molar with no wear and a complete root. This material is a new find and represents an early transition form of the whale which was a fully aquatic carnivore. A Top Quality, rare Triceratops horridus epijugal (jugal spike) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek and Lance Creek formations which is know for the large frill protecting its neck. Triceratops had a spike on its cheek which is called the jugal "spike" (see photo). This jugal spike has exceptional detail preserved and great color / patina.
