An ultra rare, TOP QUALITY, Megalodon - upper jaw anterior tooth from West Java, Indonesia - new site.  This Megalodon has an incredible dark tan color and an excellent orange - brown colored bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Great color! The bourlette is large and essentially complete. The serrations are razor sharp with an excellent tip serration. Excellent serrations for a BIG Meg. The root is excellent - nicely articulated with dark brown color on the display side and shallow pitting on the non-display side which is all to common for these Megs. Miocene Age. A Top Quality Otodus sokolovi tooth from Harleyville, So. Carolina. Otodus sokolovi is the ancestor of O. auriculatus. An excellent lateral tooth. An excellent gray colored crown with a brown colored bourlette, and a light tan colored root. Highest quality enamel. Excellent color & preservation. The serrations are large and razor sharp including the tip. Two large side cusps. The root is complete and very well preserved. Note - there is an unusual iron oxide coating on this tooth. A May Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an incredible light tan colored crown with a large brown colored bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Fantastic color!
