A rare, TOP Quality Megalodon - upper jaw anterior tooth from West Java, Indonesia - new site. This Megalodon has an excellent BLUE & light tan colored crown with a unique black colored bourlette. An EXTRA LARGE scarce Top Quality, Isurus retroflexus, the Longfin Mako shark tooth (upper jaw anterior tooth) from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. This tooth has a rich black crown and a gray colored root. Excellent colors!  Sharp cutting edge. The rear top of root has a "shoulder" build up, a characteristic of Isurus retroflexus. Excellent preservation - note nutrient hole on root. It is a Miocene tooth from the Pungo River Fm. An excellent collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed. A difficult tooth to source.

An incredible Top Quality Megalodon tooth from Georgia and a June 2018 Fossil of the Month. The crown has a fantastic charcoal gray with light gray and black serrations. The crown also has a very unique wide” spade-like” shape. The enamel is the Highest Quality; glass-like with few hydration cracks! An exceptional, extra large black bourlette – nearly perfect. Razor sharp serrations including an exceptional tip serration. Nearly perfect serrations! The root is nicely articulated, brown colored, and complete. A GEM, Lee Creek Carcharocles chubutensis, a C. megalodon predecessor, from Aurora, No. Carolina. This tooth was given the name the "Oreo Chub" with its black and white bourlette. Very rare colors for Lee Creek. A May Fossil of the Month. This tooth was found in the Pungo River Formation (middle Miocene age). Note the crown exhibits large cusplike bumps at the base of the serrated edge and the root ends also show grooves where the teeth interlocked. These are characteristic traits of the Lee Creek early Meg - C. chubutensis. A gorgeous tan &  blue colored crown with an incredible black & white bourlette. Fantastic serrations with a nearly perfect with damage to one. The root is dark brown with small hydration cracks. Highest quality enamel! Excellent color! No repair or restoration.
