A rare, Top Quality Trigonotodus tusbairicus shark tooth, a Thresher shark,  from Caps-Kulj, West Kazakhstan. Fantastic color and condition. Excellent side cusps. The top of the root (rear view) has a strong enameloid build up.  An incredible Eocene (Bartonian) age tooth. A scarce Top Quality, Isurus retroflexus, the Longfin Mako shark tooth (upper jaw anterior tooth) from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. This tooth has a rich tan crown and a tan colored root. Excellent colors!  Sharp cutting edge. The rear top of root has a "shoulder" build up, a characteristic of Isurus retroflexus. Excellent preservation - note nutrient hole on root. It is a Miocene tooth from the Pungo River Fm. An excellent collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed. A difficult tooth to source.
