A MASSIVE 6-5/16" Top Quality Megalodon tooth from Georgia - an upper jaw Principal Anterior tooth. A March Fossil of the Month. The crown has excellent Tan & Blue color. The enamel is the Highest Quality with small hydration cracks. A brown colored bourlette which is mostly complete. Razor sharp, extra large serrations including an excellent tip serration. The root is a brown color, nicely articulated, extra wide, and complete. Incredible color for a BIG Georgia Meg! Weighs over 1.1 pounds. An EXTRA LARGE, ultra rare, Top Quality Edestus heinrichi, a near complete whorl with six crowns from Herrin, Illinois. A June Fossil of the Month. This is a Paleozoic shark that lived in swamp that our now underground coal deposits. Exceptional preservation, serrations, and serration detail. The Edestus shark would have an upper and lower tooth whorl that are vertically opposed. Research showed that they could use their opposing teeth in a scissor-like motion to cut prey. It is the first animal to cut vertically. A very strange looking and unique acting shark. This whorl is incredibly massive at 9-1/4" long and 2-3/4" height. The whorl body is incredibly perserved and is thick (1-1/16") and quite heavy. This whorl weighs 1+ pounds. The crowns are extra large at 1-3/4" wide and look fantastic. This was a large Edestus shark. Note - Four crown tips were professionally repaired which is typical for a whorl. Pennsylvanian age from Illinois. Authenticity guaranteed. This Megalodon is a BIG upper jaw anterior tooth from the Meherrin River copper-red site. Excellent copper red color. The enamel is the highest quality. The serrations are large, razor sharp, and essentially complete with a good tip serration. Bourlette is extra large and brown - dentin layer. The root is wide & complete. A Miocene Meg tooth. Note - the front center strip of enamel was restored (high point of the tooth only). An old collection piece from the rarest location to find a top quality Megalodon tooth - rarer than Lee Creek, Peru, Bone Valley, etc. Authenticity guaranteed. A Top Quality, 5-5/16" Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth - upper jaw tooth. This Megalodon has an incredible tan colored crown with an excellent brown bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Exceptional color!  The serrations are razor sharp with an unique pathologic tip. Tip has a slight twist and serrations were not formed. Very strange. The root is an excellent tan color and extra wide (4-5/8") with typical hydration cracks and absolutely complete. This Megalodon was found in the Pungo River Formation, Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina (Miocene age = 14.5 MYA). An excellent BIG collector's tooth from the old days at Lee Creek mine! An ultra rare, Top Quality Classic Red Site Otodus megalodon from the Meherrin River, North Carolina. This Meg is an excellent upper jaw anterior tooth. NC002 has a rich copper-red color. The enamel is the high quality with good gloss. The serrations are large with a worn tip serration. Bourlette is black and composed of the dentin layer. The root is complete and nicely articulated. Note - you rarely see a copper red colored Megalodon tooth that has a top quality crown and serrations and a complete root - a top tooth from this site! NO repair or restoration.
