    An EXTRA LARGE, 6-1/8" GEM QUALITY Megalodon tooth from Georgia - an upper jaw PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth. An October Fossil of the Month. The crown has an excellent Tan & Blue color. The enamel is the Highest Quality with small hydration cracks. An excellent black colored bourlette which is extra large, 95% complete, and very glossy. Great color! Razor sharp serrations including a good tip serration. Note - the tip has three serrations professionally repaired. The root is an excellent brown color, nicely articulated, and complete. Note - these Georgia Megs are fantastic - essentially no sign of wear and excellent preservation.     A rare MONSTER sized, 6-5/8" Top Quality Megalodon tooth - an upper jaw anterior tooth from the Broad River, So. Carolina. A December Fossil of the Month. An excellent BLACK to dark Charcoal Gray colored crown. Very good quality enamel. The black bourlette is large and complete with mostly dentin layer. The serrations and tip serration are worn, but all serrations are visible (see close up photo). The root is complete with a black color and typical hydration cracks. An extra wide root. Note - enamel peel was professionally repaired in the very center of the front and rear. Root and serrated edge is 100% original. So, the length is 100% true. This is a big Meg tooth. Authenticity guaranteed. A collector's BIG Megalodon tooth. You rarely see a 6-5/8"+ Megalodon teeth. The largest tooth that I have offered!

    A Top Quality, 5-5/8" Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth - upper jaw PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth. An October Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an incredible tan colored crown with an excellent brown bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Exceptional color!  The serrations are razor sharp. Note - three serrations at the tip were professionally restored. The root is nicely articulated with an excellent light tan color. It is also extra wide (4-5/8") with typical hydration cracks and absolutely complete. This Megalodon was found in the Pungo River Formation, Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina (Miocene age = 14.5 MYA). An excellent BIG collector's tooth from the old days at Lee Creek mine!   4. Edestus heinrichi

    A huge ultra rare, Top Quality Edestus heinrichi partial whorl with five and a half crowns from Herrin, Illinois. A January Fossil of the Month. This whorl is incredibly massive at 7-1/2" long, 3-1/2" height, and 13/16" thick. It weighs 1-1/4 pounds. This specimen also comes with an imprint (see photos). Note - this specimen was found on the mine floor with the crowns snapped off. The crowns were professionally reassembled and restored. Note - The crowns are huge at 2-1/4" wide and look fantastic. This is a Paleozoic shark that lived in swamp that our now underground coal deposits. Exceptional preservation, serrations, and serration detail. The Edestus shark would have an upper and lower tooth whorl that are vertically opposed. Research showed that they could use their opposing teeth in a scissor-like motion to cut prey. It is the first animal to cut vertically. A very strange looking and unique acting shark. Shark recreation image is credited to Julio Lacerdo. These rare teeth are Pennsylvanian age from Illinois.     A Very Rare, Top Quality (Gem) Rolfodon ludvigseni tooth from Hornby Island, British Columbia, Canada. An August Fossil of the Month. This is a new genius of Frill shark from the Late Cretaceous deep water Northumberland Formation deposit. A unique species of Chlamydoselachiform shark, the Frill shark. These teeth exhibit classic Frill shark design with a central cusp flanked by two lateral cusps. The crown is near complete (central cusp end damage)  and the root is complete. Note - two crown ends were very neatly reattached without fill or gaps which is typical for a matrix free specimen. Crack lines are hard to see without magnification. Highest quality enamel. No repair. A very difficult tooth to locate and an excellent collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed. This incredible specimen is from a 20 year old collection. A fantastic Frill shark specimen!
