A rare, 4-13/16", Top Quality Sharktooth Hill Megalodon tooth found in the Round Mountain Silt near Bakersfield, California. A location that produces very few Megalodon teeth and one of the toughest Megs to locate. This tooth was found in the Ernst West quarry. This Megalodon tooth has the top quality enamel with tan crown. The bourlette is a light brown color and mostly complete. The root is articulated and complete. The serrations are sharp with an excellent tip. This is a middle Miocene Meg. The right root tip was neatly reattached. A common occurrence at STH. No restoration.
