    A Top Quality, Triceratops horridus brow horn from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. A January Fossil of the Month. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell and Lance Creek Formations. This is a special horn with exceptional detail preserved with excellent color and natural patina. Fantastic surface articulation. You can see all of the natural blood grooves around the surface of the horn. The preparation of the horn was fairly basic and simple with minor crack repair. No extensive repair or restoration. It comes with the custom steel stand as shown. A fantastic fossil overall for display. Legally collected on private land in the Lance Creek Fm., Weston Co., Wyoming . Authenticity guaranteed.     A rare, TOP QUALITY Triceratops horridus hoof core (pes claw) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation which is known for three horns and a large frill protecting its neck. This adult hoof core has exceptional detail preserved and excellent color & patina. Note - Triceratops hoof cores are generally smaller than Hadrosaur, have a very rugous surface, have a characteristeristic "shallow ledge" on the under side, have less height than Hadrosaur, and are much more difficult to find. This hoof core has  the correct features is is incredibly preserved. Legally collected on private land in Carter Co., Montana. Authenticity guaranteed. True Triceratops hoof cores are very difficult to locate, and this is a unique example!

    A large Hypselosaurus priscus (Titanosaur) egg on matrix. A January Fossil of the Month. This is a remount egg made with actual Hypselosaurus eggshells from the southern France nesting site, made to specification for this species, and is placed on a piece of matrix from the egg site. This egg was meticulously assembled to resemble a natural Hypselosaurus egg from a size and shape perspective. Unfortunately, the few natural eggs that are found at this site are typically crushed or severely compressed, and they are not very attractive due to overburden compression. Hypselosaurus is a medium sized Titanosaur from the Late Cretaceous (Maastrichtian age) approximately 70 MMya. Fround in the Vitrolles area, Basin d'Aix de Provence, France. Authenticity guaranteed. Ankylosaurus magniventris was the largest Ankylosaur which grew to 30 feet and 17000 pounds, and a body covered with this bony armor. A complete body osteoderm plate from an adult Ankylosaurus. The bone quality is excellent with excellent color and patina. This osteoderm has a high ridge on one side. There are some hydration cracks and crack fill. No restoration.     A rare, Top Quality Edmontosaurus annectens finger from the late Cretaceous of North America. Edmontosaurus is a very large hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. The finger includes two carpals and a manus claw. Edmontosaurus was mainly bipedal, but could walk on all four legs in search of food. As noted by the front leg size difference, Edmontosaurus could put little weight on them. Excellent bone quality. Minor crack fill. No restoration.
