A rare, TOP Quality Megalodon - upper jaw anterior tooth from West Java, Indonesia - new site. This Megalodon has an excellent tan colored crown with a gorgeous golden tan colored bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Great color!  The bourlette is large and complete. The serrations are razor sharp and complete with an excellent "needle-like" tip serration. Excellent  serrations. A Top Quality, Tyrannosaur tooth from the late Cretaceous (Campanian) in northern North America. Please note that this tooth could Gorgosaurus or Daspletosaurus - see Detailed Discussion below. A Top Quality, Classic Lee Creek Megalodon upper jaw tooth. This Megalodon has an incredible light tan colored crown with an excellent brown bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Exceptional color!  The serrations are razor sharp with an excellent needle-like tip serration. Serrations are just about 100% complete (1 with minor damage). The root is an excellent tan color with small hydration cracks and absolutely complete. An ultra rare, Top Quality Alopias palatasi shark tooth, the extinct serrated Giant Thresher, from the Nottoway River, Virginia. A January Fossil of the Month. An EXTRA LARGE TOP QUALITY very rare Parotodus benedeni tooth from the Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina. A March Fossil of the Month. Lateral tooth. The crown has sharp cutting edges. Excellent BLUE color with a brown root and bourlette. The root is ~3/4" thick and shows typical hydration cracks. This Parotodus tooth was found in the Yorktown Formation (Pliocene age). A Top Quality, Triceratops horridus toe bone (metatarsal) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation which is known for three horns and the large frill protecting its neck. This is a great toe bone with exceptional detail preserved and good color / patina. This is the metatarsal IV bone. You can see the "mushroom" appearance of proximal ends which is a characteristic of Triceratops and distinguishes it from a Hadrosaur toe bone. Triceratops bones are more difficult to find. No repair or restoration. Legally collected on private land in Powder River Co., Montana. Authenticity guaranteed. This is a heavy bone (1.8 lbs shipping weight). An ultra rare, Top Quality Struthiomimus altus hand (manus) claw from the late Cretaceous of North America. A November Fossil of the Month.  Struthiomimus is a long legged, bipedal, toothless dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. The Struthiomimus means "ostrich mimic" which best describes this species. Exceptional bone quality and color. Excellent bone preservation. The tip was repaired which is quite common for claws. Legally collected on private land in the Judith River Fm., Hill Co., Montana. An excellent collector's quality Struthiomimus manus claw.  Authenticity guaranteed. A TOP QUALITY, very rare Basilosaurus cetoides, an Archaeocete whale tooth found in the Flint River, Georgia. An exceptional premolar (PM1) tooth (see photo for tooth positions). An excellent brown colored crown and root. Nicely articulated. Incredible preservation!  Note - the enamel tip shows a small wear pattern on crown. Whales do not shed their teeth like the sharks so there teeth will wear with age. An Ultra Rare Pappocetus lugardi (Andrews, 1920) canine tooth from Morocco. Pappocetus was in the Protocetidae family of ancient whales . Note - this tooth is a large canine with a partial root. This material is a new find and represents one of the earliest transition forms of the whale. Pappocetus is a protocetid (see discussion below) and a large amphibious aquatic carnivore. Pappocetus is also an ancestor of the Basilosaurus. This material is complete and without repair. This is an opportunity to own an incredibly rare specimen from an early evolutionary stage of the modern whale. A fantastic collector's specimen. Authenticity guaranteed.
