A very rare, Top Quality Edestus heinrichi shark tooth, from Herrin, Illinois. This is a Paleozoic shark that lived in swamps that our now underground coal deposits. Fantastic enamel quality. Excellent preservation, serrations, and serration detail. The Edestus shark would have an upper and lower tooth whorl that are vertically opposed. Research showed that they could use their opposing teeth in a scissor-like motion or a vertical whipping motion to cut prey. It is the first animal to cut vertically. A very strange looking and unique acting shark. Shark recreation image is credited to Julio Lacerdo. These rare teeth are Pennsylvanian age from Illinois. An EXTRA LARGE Top Quality, Triceratops horridus tooth crown from the late Cretaceous of western North America.  Triceratops is a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. An EXTRA LARGE, TOP QUALITY Mosasaurus beaugei tooth from the Cretaceous of Khouribga, Morocco. Excellent preservation. Note - the well defined flat ridges running the length of the crown - a M. beaugei characteristic. Wide base. One crack. No restoration. A massive Mosasaur tooth from the hero of Jurassic World! This is one of the more difficult of the large Mosasaur species to find. Two rare LARGE, Otodus obliquus vertebra with excellent color from the Khouribga phosphate mining area of Morocco. Exceptional concentric growth rings well preserved. Thick at 15/16". A very rare Auriculatus anterior tooth from the Ocucaja region deserts of Peru. An excellent tan crown and brown root. The serrations are very nice -  large and sharp. Good side cusp development and a complete root. Excellent preservation. No repair or restoration. Found in the Paracas Formation, Late Eocene. These Peruvian Rics are very rare! You cannot find them any more. Authenticity guaranteed. One of the most difficult Auriculatus teeth to locate.

A Very Rare, Quality Hexanchus microdon upper jaw tooth from Hornby Island, British Columbia, Canada. This is a species from the Late Cretaceous deep water Northumberland Formation deposit. A species of Hexanchiforme shark. The crown is complete with 7 cusplets and the root is complete (cracked). High quality enamel. No repair. A very difficult tooth to locate and an excellent collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed. This incredible specimen is from a 20 year old collection.
