    An EXTRA LARGE, GEM Quality, shark vertabra from the Sharktooth Hill area, near Bakersfield, California. A February Fossil of the Month.Note - Most likely a large Mako shark vertebra and part of an associated pair with ST954. The sides are all clean and fully articulated. The base is the original Round Mountain silt matrix. Excellent preservation and gorgeous color. No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. A scarce find for Sharktooth Hill, and 2"+ are always very difficult to find. The best Sharktooth Hill vertebra the I have seen. A fantastic display piece!

    An Ultra Rare, Top Quality Sharktooth Hill Megalodon tooth from Pyramid Hill, Kern County, California. A location that produces very few Megalodon teeth and one of the toughest Megs to locate. A February Fossil of the Month. Highest quality enamel with a great brown and charcoal colors. The bourlette is a tan color and is nearly complete. The serrations are extra large & sharp and complete with a big tip serration. The root is nicely articulated and complete. Note the large grooves on the root ends - an early Miocene trait. This is a rare early Miocene (22 MYA) Meg from the Jewitt Sand Fm.- very unique! You never see these early Miocene Megs from Bakersfield, California. One of the rarest Megs! No repair or restoration.     A large Hypselosaurus priscus (Titanosaur) egg on matrix. A January Fossil of the Month. This is a remount egg made with actual Hypselosaurus eggshells from the southern France nesting site, made to specification for this species, and is placed on a piece of matrix from the egg site. This egg was meticulously assembled to resemble a natural Hypselosaurus egg from a size and shape perspective. Unfortunately, the few natural eggs that are found at this site are typically crushed or severely compressed, and they are not very attractive due to overburden compression. Hypselosaurus is a medium sized Titanosaur from the Late Cretaceous (Maastrichtian age) approximately 70 MMya. Fround in the Vitrolles area, Basin d'Aix de Provence, France. Authenticity guaranteed.     A Devonian sea floor slab with a Eldredgops (Phacops) rana milleri trilobite from the Silica Shale Formation of Ohio. The also three large pyrite replaced Paraspirifer bownockeri brachiopods, three Mucrospirifer mucronatus brachiopods, and other specimens. The Eldredgops has excellent detail on the compound eyes - very well preserved. The quality of the Silica Shale Fm. fossils are incredible. A rare sea floor specimen from the Middle Devonian (380 mya), Silica Shale Fm. from Lucas Co., Ohio. You don't see multi-species slabs for sale. A Museum Quality specimen.
