An EXTRA LARGE Top Quality, Otodus obliquus tooth from the Khouribga phosphate mining area of Morocco. A January Fossil of the Month. M020 is embedded in its original matrix. An EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Scyphocrinites elegans crinoid from Alnif, Morocco. The Scyphocrinites crinoid was a floating variety which was attached to a holdfast air bladder that supported multiple stems and calyx ("flowers"). This crinoid has a bulbous calyx with incredible detail. This crinoid has a good sized stem section of 3-3/4". These crinoids make fantastic display pieces. Museum Quality specimen.
