This is an extinct elephant ancestor that inhabited North America during the late Miocene to late Pliocene. This massive tooth has 4 large cusp rows with typical cusp wear. Exceptional overall articulation. Incredible red & black colors! This is an exceptionally well fossilized Mastodon specimen. Note - Tooth comes complete with custom stand as pictured.
