A LARGE, Top Quality Edmontosaurus annectens toe from the late Cretaceous of North America. An August Fossil of the Month. Edmontosaurus is a very large hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. This is a non-associated set of toe bones from the outer toe (toe II - see diagram), and it consists of two toe bones (Phalanx 1 & 2) and a pes hoof core (ungual). Bone quality is excellent. These pieces are a perfect fit including a very good pes ungual. No restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Garfield Co., Montana. A Top Quality, Ultra Rare Pachychephalosaurus wyomingensis node cluster from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Pachychephalosaurus is the dinosaur which is famous for its large domed head surrounded by these spikes and nodes. These spikes and nodes were part of the skull. This is a node cluster with a large node surrounded by a group of smaller nodes. This node cluster has excellent color / patina with exceptional surface articulation. The blood grooves are still present in the bone. It is a complete specimen with no cracks or breaks. Note - the excellent articulated skull surface on the base of the node. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Powder River Co., Montana. An excellent and very rare collector's quality Pachychephalosaurus node cluster. A rare LARGE, Top Quality adult Anzu wyliei metatarsal toe bone from the Hell Creek Fm. of Montana. Anzu is referred to as the "Chicken from Hell". An execllent metatarsal bone. Big and heavy. Excellent brown color and patina. This specimen has very good overall perservation. A complete specimen with some natural crushing on the rear side and minor crack fill. This specimen has good perservation with minor erosion. There is a very small tip repair whic is common. A quality, collector's claw from the JUdith River of Montana.
