    A Top Quality, Triceratops horridus brow horn from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. A March Fossil of the Month. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek Formation. This is a special horn with exceptional detail preserved with excellent color and natural patina. Fantastic surface articulation. You can see all of the natural blood grooves around the surface of the horn. Plus the horn base end is completely cleaned to see the internal terminus of the horn - a very complete specimen (see photo). The preparation of the horn was fairly basic and simple with minor crack repair. No extensive repair or restoration. It comes with a sturdy custom steel stand as shown.     An ultra rare Top Quality Stegoceras validum dome (frontoparietal skull bone) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. An April Fossil of the Month. Stegoceras is a smaller sized pachycephalosaurid dinosaur, and like Pachycephalosaurus, it is a dinosaur which is famous for its large domed head surrounded by spikes. This is excellent quality juvenile dome with good color / patina. No cracks or restoration. There is a small sheer on the left side that occured prior to fossilization since it has the natural patina. Otherwise a complete dome.     A very rare Top Quality, Allosaurus & Camarasaurus toe bone from the Morrison Fm. These toe bones are complete, and they reside on an Allosaurus  vertebra neural section as originally found. The Allosaurus toe bone is 2-1/2" and the Camarasaurus toe bone measures 2-3/8" in length. High quality bone. Rich brown color. Very good overall condition with minor bone erosion. Normal crack fill. No restoration. Allosaurus was the apex predator during the late Jurassic and Camarasaurus was a medium-sized sauropod. Legally collected on private land in the Morrison Fm., Emery Co., Utah.     A large Hypselosaurus priscus (Titanosaur) egg on matrix. A January Fossil of the Month. This is a remount egg made with actual Hypselosaurus eggshells from the southern France nesting site, made to specification for this species, and is placed on a piece of matrix from the egg site. This egg was meticulously assembled to resemble a natural Hypselosaurus egg from a size and shape perspective. Unfortunately, the few natural eggs that are found at this site are typically crushed or severely compressed, and they are not very attractive due to overburden compression. Hypselosaurus is a medium sized Titanosaur from the Late Cretaceous (Maastrichtian age) approximately 70 MMya. Fround in the Vitrolles area, Basin d'Aix de Provence, France. Authenticity guaranteed.
