A rare pair of juvenile Woolly Mammoth (Mammuthus primigenius), an early elephant, teeth in the jaw. Found in Siberia. An October Fossil of the Month. Mammoths were present in this area during the Late Pleistocene Ice Age. Fantastic natural color!  These molars have nicely articulated chewing surfaces. Completely fossilized. Weighs 5 lbs. A Top Quality Timurlengia euotica tooth from the late Cretaceous (Turonian) in northern Central Asia. A June Fossil of the Month. Timurlengia was discovered in 2016 in the Bissekty Fm  (90 MYA), and it filled a gap in the Tyrannosaur family ancestry. This tooth measures 1-1/2" - an excellent Tyrannosaur tooth. The enamel is high quality with excellent color. Excellent anterior and posterior serrations. Serrated to the tip. Wide base at 5/8". No cracks, repair or restoration. An ULTRA Rare, TOP QUALITY Parotodus benedeni tooth from Sharktooth Hill, near Bakersfield California. A December 2022 Fossil of the Month. This tooth has a highly desirable light tan enamel and a very massive root. This Parotodus benedeni tooth remains mounted on the original Round Mountain Silt matrix and it is sitting on a chunk of whale bone. The crown enamel has very good luster and very sharp edges. Highest quality enamel! Note -  a small (~1/8") tip repair was professionally done.  A very difficult tooth to locate and an EXCEPTIONAL Collector's tooth! An ultra rare group of two associated TOP QUALITY Araucaria mirabilis pine cones from Argentina. A May Fossil of the Month. These cones were found side by side and remain on their original natural matrix. The Jurassic pine cones are exquisite and known for their highy quality and extreme preservation. A rare, TOP QUALITY Megatherium americanum sloth claw from an extinct genus of giant ground sloths from the Pampean region, Uruguay. A March Fossil of the Month. Megatherium is from the family of the largest Ground sloths. This claw has excellent preservation. It is complete down to an excellent tip with essentially no restoration or repair. There appears to be a 1.5” area of the top of the sheath rim on the back side that may have minor restoration (see photo - a small area). Excellent preservation of the proximal end.
