The Leguminosites lesquereuxiana is a member of the Pea family from the Eocene age (48 MYA) in the ancient Lake Unita deposit. This piece exhibits exceptional preservation and excellent color. An extinct early rabbit jaw (Palaeolagus haydeni) from Sioux Co., Nebraska. Palaeolagus was one of many mammals that thrived in the Early Oligocene in North America. Found in the Brule Fm.
