A Top Quality, Extra Large rare transition GW tooth, Carcharodon hubbelli. An upper jaw anterior tooth. Another December 2017 Fossil of the Month. The C. hubbelli serrations are full at the base of the cutting edge, transition to fine serrations at mid crown and disappear towards the tip. This tooth has an excellent blue colored crown ("blue site"), brown root, and a vivid dark maroon "gum line". Excellent color. No repair. A LARGE, ultra rare, Top Quality Tyrannosaur toe bone from the late Cretaceous (Campanian) in northern North America. This toe bone measures 3-5/8" - an excellent Tyrannosaur toe bone. This could be the next to last digit of the center toe (see Albertosaurus foot photo). A TOP QUALITY Megalonyx leptostomus sloth claw from an extinct genus of giant ground sloths and our December 2017 Fossil of the Month. This claw has excellent preservation and shows little water wear. It's complete down to a nice tip with absolutely no restoration or repair. Excellent preservation of the proximal end. There is a little eriosion on the top of the claw. A wonderful Late Pliocene - Early Pleistocene display piece from northern Florida. Authenticity guaranteed. One of my favorites!

An EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Ptychodus latissimus, an extinct durophagous (shell-crushing) shark, tooth from Ellis Co., Texas. An excellent example of this Upper Cretaceous Atco Fm. tooth.
