A Top Quality, Triceratops horridus jaw section (maxilla section) from the late Cretaceous of northern North America. Triceratops was a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation which is known for the large frill protecting its neck. This is a great jaw section with excellent detail preserved and excellent color / patina. You can see the four complete tooth channels which are approximately 5/8" wide which is a characteristic of Triceratops and distinguishes it from a Hadrosaur which is closer to 1/4" wide. Triceratops bones are more difficult to find. No repair or restoration. 100% natural specimen. Legally collected on private land in Garfield Co., Montana. Authenticity guaranteed.

A TOP QUALITY Chubutensis tooth from Peru - an upper jaw tooth. Another February Fossil of the Month. An incredible tan and red colored crown with no peel. Highest quality enamel. Fantastic extra large side cusps. Extra large and sharp serrations are incredible including a good tip serration. The bourlette is a light tan color and 100% complete. Extra wide. The root is excellent brown color, nicely articulated, and nearly complete The only challenge with this tooth is some minor root repair at the very base of the root (see black colored area). An incredibly colored, extra large Peruvian Chubutensis tooth! You won't see any more like this Chub. A rare, Top Quality Megalodon - upper jaw anterior tooth from West Java, Indonesia - new site. This Megalodon has an incredible tan color tooth with an excellent brown colored bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Excellent color! The bourlette is large and 98% complete. The serrations are razor sharp and near complete with an excellent tip serration. Very good serrations. An Ultra Rare EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Tyrannosaurus rex tooth. Another August 2018 Fossil of the Month. This Rex crown measures 4-1/2" (straightline) and is thick (1-9/16") - a massive Rex tooth. The enamel is very high quality and a rich dark brown color. Good posterior and anterior serrations with a small amount of natural tip wear. An extra wide base. This is a big and heavy tooth. Note - this tooth was cracked in a freeze cycle as evidenced by the cracks in the top half of the tooth. The preparator did a exceptional job prepping this tooth and it is rock solid now. A small area of the cutting edge was rebuilt about midway on both the anterior and posterior sides (see final photo). Excellent overall condition for a big Rex tooth. A incredibly rare & special tooth! T-Rex was the apex during the late Cretaceous with massive teeth capable of crushing its prey. A Top Quality Ptychodus mortoni, an extinct durophagous (shell-crushing) shark, tooth from Dallas Co., Texas. A November Fossil of the Month. An excellent example of this Upper Cretaceous Eagle Ford Fm. tooth. These massive teeth have a design includes a high cusp with radiating occlusal ridges extending across the cusp face. Authenticity guaranteed. Not perfect tooth - tooth was cracked in half when found. P. mortoni is a rare rare species in Texas, and when teeth get this large they are extremely rare! Edmontosaurus is a very large hadrosaur or "duck-bill" dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. They possessed ~300 teeth that were in columns of five teeth each which acted as conveyor belt to maintain a large chewing surface to cut and grind their food. This specimen is a small section of the lower jaw showing two grooves where the columns of teeth were positioned. Bone quality is very good. No restoration.
