An ultra rare, TOP QUALITY Megalodon - upper jaw anterior tooth from West Java, Indonesia - new site.  A June Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an excellent red-brown colored crown and an incredible orange colored bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Fantastic color! The bourlette is huge and 100% complete. The serrations are razor sharp and 100% complete with an excellent tip serration. Exceptional serrations for a BIG Meg tooth. A TOP QUALITY, Lee Creek Carcharocles chubutensis, a C. megalodon predecessor, from Aurora, No. Carolina. A posterior tooth. This tooth was found in the Pungo River Formation (middle Miocene age). Note the crown exhibits large cusplike bumps at the base of the serrated edge and the root ends also show grooves where the teeth interlocked. These are characteristic traits of the Lee Creek early Meg - C. chubutensis. A gorgeous tan colored crown with an excellent brown bourlette. Great serrations. A very rare, incredibly preserved LARGE Reoboulicidaris rebouli, a fossil club echinoid (urchin). The specimen is fully inflated, nicely articulated, and complete with long ornate spines - a very aesthetic display. These “Club” echinoids on matrix include some composite spines/radioles from their species. This fantastic echinoid is middle Jurassic period from from Amellago, Middle Atlas Mts., Morocco.
