An ultra rare, top quality 3" Sharktooth Hill Megalodon tooth found near Bakersfield, California. A location that produces very few Megalodon teeth and one of the toughest Megs to locate. An incredibly sized, Top Quality Great White shark transition tooth (Carcharodon hubbelli) from Chile. An August 2019 Fossil of the Month. This ULTRA RARE, MONSTER sized Great White tooth measures 2-15/16" - a huge upper jaw PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth. This tooth is an ultra rare Carcharodon hubbelli with small serrations at the base of the cutting edge that disappear towards the tip. High quality enamel! An Extra Large, TOP QUALITY, 3" Carcharodon (Isurus) hastalis tooth with an excellent blue & tan colored crown. A March Fossil of the Month. This is a natural matrix specimen sitting with many whale bones in the original Round Mountain Silt matrix block. The large whale bone at base is 5-3/4" x 3". Plus there are four more whale bones and a shark vertebra exposed in this matrix block. This is a 100% natural matrix piece - nothing added or glued. 100% natural. A Top Quality Megalodon tooth from Georgia. A MArch Fossil of the Month. The crown has excellent Blue color. The enamel is the Highest Quality with very small hydration cracks. An BLACK colored bourlette which is mostly complete. Razor sharp, extra large serrations including an excellent tip serration. The root is a charcoal color, nicely articulated, and complete. This is a new genius of Frill shark from the Late Cretaceous deep water Northumberland Formation deposit. A unique species of Chlamydoselachiform shark, the Frill shark. These teeth exhibit classic Frill shark design with a central cusp flanked by two lateral cusps. The crown is complete and the root is complete. Note - all three crown tip ends were very neatly reattached without fill or gaps which is typical for a matrix free specimen. Crack lines are hard to see without magnification. Highest quality enamel. No repair. A very difficult tooth to locate and an excellent collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed. This incredible specimen is from a 20 year old collection.
