"The Best of West Java". An ultra rare, TOP QUALITY 6" Megalodon - upper jaw tooth from West Java, Indonesia. This Megalodon has an excellent tan with a red - brown colored bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Excellent color! The bourlette is large. The bourlette is 50% complete, but looks very nice with the dentin layer being the same color. Great color! The serrations are razor sharp with a slightly damaged tip serration. Only 4 serrations show minor damage. Great serrations for a BIG Meg. An EXTRA LARGE, Colorful, Top Quality Megalodon - upper jaw anterior tooth from West Java, Indonesia. This Megalodon has a tan colored crown with a GOLDEN tan  colored bourlette. An ultra rare Top Quality, Allosaurus fragilis  rooted premaxillary tooth. This Allosaurus crown measures 15/16". The complete tooth measures 2-7/16" and 1/2" wide and is fully inflated. The enamel is highest quality with a natural wear facet at the tip. Great rich dark brown color. Excellent serrations. Great overall condition and serrations. Note - 1/4" of the root base was repaired. Allosaurus was the apex predator during the late Jurassic with large teeth designed to slash predators. A GEM, Lee Creek Carcharocles chubutensis, a C. megalodon predecessor, from Aurora, No. Carolina. This tooth was given the name the "Oreo Chub" with its black and white bourlette. Very rare colors for Lee Creek. A May Fossil of the Month. This tooth was found in the Pungo River Formation (middle Miocene age). Note the crown exhibits large cusplike bumps at the base of the serrated edge and the root ends also show grooves where the teeth interlocked. These are characteristic traits of the Lee Creek early Meg - C. chubutensis. A gorgeous tan &  blue colored crown with an incredible black & white bourlette. Fantastic serrations with a nearly perfect with damage to one. The root is dark brown with small hydration cracks. Highest quality enamel! Excellent color! No repair or restoration. This is a newly named species from the Late Cretaceous deep water Northumberland Formation deposit. The crown complete (tip reattached), both side cusps complete, and root is complete.
