A Top Quality, rooted juvenile Triceratops horridus tooth from the late Cretaceous of western North America. A maxillary (upper jaw) tooth. Triceratops is a large ceratopsian dinosaur found in the Hell Creek formation. The enamel is high quality with excellent color and patina. A TOP QUALITY serrated Nanotyrannus lancensis premaxillary tooth from the western US. The premaxillary teeth were the front teeth, have a "D" shaped base, and were not large. Most Nano premaxillary teeth are non-serrate. This Nano has strong serrations - rare.  The right side serrations have some wear or damage. This tooth measures 9/16" (straight line). The enamel is xcellent quality. No cracks. No repair or restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Hell Creek Fm., Custer Co., Montana. An EXTRA LARGE, rare Top Quality Camarasaurus tooth, a late Jurassic sauropod tooth from the Morrison Fm. A September Fossil of the Month. Camarasaurus had robust spoon shaped teeth to tear tough vegetation. This tooth is complete with incredible surfaces. The enamel is highest quality. Great rich black color. Exceptional enamel articulation. There was a small repair at the base of the root only. No repair or restoration to the crown. A TOP QUALITY, very rare Basilosaurus cetoides, an Archaeocete whale tooth found in the Flint River, Georgia. An exceptional premolar (PM1) tooth (see photo for tooth positions). An excellent brown colored crown and root. Nicely articulated. Incredible preservation!  Note - the enamel tip shows a small wear pattern on crown. Whales do not shed their teeth like the sharks so there teeth will wear with age.
