A Top Quality Tyrannosaur tooth from the late Cretaceous (Campanian) in northern North America. An October Fossil of the Month. Please note that this tooth could Gorgosaurus or Daspletosaurus - see Detailed Discussion below. This tooth measures 2-3/8" - an excellent Tyrannosaur tooth. The enamel is high quality with excellent color. Anterior serrations and posterior serrations are excellent. Serrated to the tip. Note - the top has some minor planting etching and there is one natural wear facet on the side (very typical for the Campanian Tyrannosaurs). No cracks, repair or restoration. Legally collected on private land in the Judith River Fm., McCone Co., Montana. Probably an excellent Gorgosaurus tooth based on size and roundness of the tooth cross-section. Also found at a site that produced a Gorgosaurus skeleton. Authenticity guaranteed. An excellent BIG tooth. A Riker display frame is included.

An ultra rare, Top Quality EXTRA LARGE Edestus heinrichi shark whorl section with 3 big crowns, from Herrin, Illinois. An April Fossil of the Month. This is a Paleozoic shark that lived in swamps that our now underground coal deposits. Excellent preservation and serrations. Note - extra long root whorl section with 3 extra large crowns - very rare. The Edestus shark would have an upper and lower tooth whorl that are vertically opposed. Research showed that they could use their opposing teeth in a scissor-like motion to cut prey. It is the first animal to cut vertically. A very strange looking and unique acting shark. Shark recreation image is credited to Julio Lacerdo. These rare teeth are Pennsylvanian age from Illinois. Note - Two crown tips were professionally retored. Authenticity guaranteed. Three crown whorl sections are rare!

An ULTRA RARE, MONSTER Great White shark transition tooth, Carcharodon hubbelli from Chile. A BIG upper jaw lateral tooth. A June Fossil of the Month. This tooth has a tan colored crown, a distinct gum line, and a brown root. Good color! Highest quality enamel with little hydration cracks and no peeling. This C. hubbelli tooth has medium serrations at the base of the cutting edge, transition to fine serrations at mid crown and disappear towards the tip. Serrations are large at the base with a good tip serration. The root is extra wide. Note - the root root lobe was cracked and probably reatttached - hard to see. Excellent preservation - note nutrient hole on root. No repair or restoration. An exceptional Great White transition form!  It will be extremely difficult to locate Carcharodon hubbelli. A super rare collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed.

An ultra rare, Top Quality Classic Red Site Otodus megalodon from the Meherrin River, North Carolina. This Meg is an excellent upper jaw anterior tooth. NC002 has a rich copper-red color. The enamel is the high quality with good gloss. The serrations are large with a worn tip serration. Bourlette is black and composed of the dentin layer. The root is complete and nicely articulated. Note - you rarely see a copper red colored Megalodon tooth that has a top quality crown and serrations and a complete root - a top tooth from this site! NO repair or restoration. An ultra rare, 5-5/8" GEM, Deep Red North Carolina Carcharocles megalodon, an upper jaw Principal Anterior tooth from the Meherrin River copper-red site. This incredibly rare tooth is our February Fossil of the Month. NC001 has an incredible deep red colored crown. The finest color from the copper red site! The enamel is the highest quality. The serrations are essentially prefect with a needle-like tip serration. The root is perfect. An incredible Top Quality Megalodon tooth from Georgia and a June 2018 Fossil of the Month. The crown has a fantastic charcoal gray with light gray and black serrations. The crown also has a very unique wide” spade-like” shape. The enamel is the Highest Quality; glass-like with few hydration cracks! An exceptional, extra large black bourlette – nearly perfect.
