A FANTASTIC polished display piece with two exposed EXTRA LARGE ammonites and an orthoceras. A third ammonite is also exposed when viewed from the top. All showing the intricate internal chamber structure.The rock matrix is a beautiful marble material and the Ammonite cavities are mineral filled! These ammonites and orthoceras are beautifully polished. An incredible Top Quality Megalodon tooth from Georgia and a June 2018 Fossil of the Month. The crown has a fantastic charcoal gray with light gray and black serrations. The crown also has a very unique wide” spade-like” shape. The enamel is the Highest Quality; glass-like with few hydration cracks! An exceptional, extra large black bourlette – nearly perfect. The November week #3b FOTM is a very rare, TOP QUALITY Parotodus benedeni tooth from the Lee Creek mine, No. Carolina. This is an ultra rare anterior tooth. A perfect tip, perfect razor sharp cutting edges, and a complete root (1" thick). Root has the typical hydration crack present on all XL anterior teeth.
