An Ultra Rare, Top Quality Chilean Megalodon vertebra from the phosphate layer of the Caldera region, Chile. A gorgeous brown colored and well preserved centrum.  Note this this centrum is 3-5/8" wide and 1-1/2" deep. The complete centrum would be at least 3-1/2"+ in length. Unfortunately only one centrum side was found. No repair or restoration. An exceedingly rare BIG Chilean Megalodon vertebra from the old days! A rare Top Quality, BIG CLASSIC Chile Megalodon tooth from the phosphate layer, Bahia Inglesa Fm., Caldera area, Chile. This tooth is nicely displayed on its original phosphorite matrix. Note - the pebbly phosphorite makes an interesting base which elevates the tip about 15 degress for a great display. A gorgeous light tan colored crown with no enamel peel. High quality enamel with very light mineral staining (as shown). The bourlette is an excellent deep mahogany brown color, large and 85% complete. The serrations are razor sharp and complete with an excellent tip serration. A MONSTER, 6-1/4" Classic Lee Creek Megalodon tooth - upper jaw PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth from Aurora, No. Carolina. This Megalodon has an incredible light tan colored crown with a large brown colored bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Fantastic color! The crown is very wide (4-3/8") - incredible! The bourlette is excellent, extra large and 40% perfect. The serrations are razor sharp with an excellent tip serration. Good serrations for a big Meg tooth - razor sharp! The root is an gray color with typical hydration cracks and complete. This Megalodon was found in the Yorktown Formation, Lee Creek mine, Aurora, No. Carolina (Pliocene age = 4.5 MYA). An Ultra Rare, High Quality Sharktooth Hill Megalodon tooth found in the Round Mountain Silt near Bakersfield, California. A location that produces very few Megalodon teeth and one of the toughest Megs to locate. Good quality enamel with a great light tan color. The bourlette is a near white color and complete. The serrations are sharp and near complete with a rounded tip. The root is nicely articulated and complete. Also note the large groove on the root ends - a Miocene trait.
