A "Flying" TOP QUALITY Walliserops trifurcatus trilobite, the "trident Comura".  A November Fossil of the Month and one of the collector's favorite spiny trilobites. Walliserops trifurcatus is an unusual looking species with three rows of of spines run down its back and a trident-like fork extending from the front of the cephalon. The preparation is German controlled with all original colors and no restoration. Exceptional completeness and preservation. Great natural black shell with excellent luster. The bottom of this trilobite has been cleaned out and it sits on an 1" matrix pedestal. A very difficult species to prepare. Excellent shell and spine preservation. Compound eyes are very good. Good size. A rare species! One of the ultimate Middle Devonian (380 mya) spiny trilobite from the Foum Zguid, Morocco. Authenticity guaranteed. A rare, TOP QUALITY Megatherium americanum sloth claw from an extinct genus of giant ground sloths from the Pampean region, Uruguay. A March Fossil of the Month. Megatherium is from the family of the largest Ground sloths. This claw has excellent preservation. It is complete down to an excellent tip with essentially no restoration or repair. There appears to be a 1.5” area of the top of the sheath rim on the back side that may have minor restoration (see photo - a small area). Excellent preservation of the proximal end. An incredible massive Late Pliocene - Early Pleistocene display piece from Uruguay. Authenticity guaranteed. A fantastic Pleistocene giant ground sloth claw specimen. A rare Museum Quality specimen from a rare site. One of my favorites! Comes with a steel stand.

An Ultra Rare, Extra Large Pappocetus lugardi (Andrews, 1920) jaw section with 3 complete molars from Morocco. Pappocetus was in the Protocetidae family of ancient whales. Note – the molars demonstrate how massive Pappocetus teeth compared to the later primitive whales!  The root thickness doubles on one side and the crown gains depth as well. This material is a new find and represents one of the earliest transition forms of the whale. Pappocetus is a protocetid (see discussion below) and a large amphibious aquatic carnivore. Pappocetus is also an ancestor of the Basilosaurus.. This material is complete and without repair. Crack fill only on some pieces. This is an opportunity to own an incredibly rare specimen from an early evolutionary stage of the modern whale. A fantastic collector's specimen. Authenticity guaranteed.

A beautifully prepared, GEM QUALITY Comura bultyncki trilobite. The collector's favorite spiny trilobite. An April Fossil of the Month. The Comura has very ornate spiny trilobite design with excellent compound eyes! Excellent shell and spine preservation. Large size. A scarce species! A very rare, TOP QUALITY Hainosaurus tooth, a Tylosaur mosasaur, from the Cretaceous of Khouribga, Morocco. This mosasaur is a recent discovery and genus naming. The teeth appear to be quite rare. Note - the well defined posterior hook at the top of the crown - a Hainosaurus characteristic. This specimen has a wear facet on the anterior edge of the crown and it has been cracked. This is the most difficult of the Mosasaur species to find. An excellent collector's Mosasaur tooth. Authenticity guaranteed.

A LARGE, Rare Basilosaurus isis premolar tooth from Morocco. Basilosaurus was in the Basilosauridae family of early whales. An August Fossil of the Month. Note - this tooth is a molar with no wear and a complete root. This material is a new find and represents an early transition form of the whale which was a fully aquatic carnivore. Note - the very tip of four side cusps were professionally restored in the US. This is an opportunity to own an incredibly rare specimen from an early evolutionary stage of the modern whale. A GEM, 4-3/8" Classic Peruvian Megalodon tooth. Our February 2017 Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an incredible light orange colored crown with an exceptional two tone bourlette. Highest quality enamel. Exceptional light orange color! The bourlette is excellent and complete. The serrations are extra large and razor sharp with an exceptional tip serration. Essentially PERFECT serrations with partial damage to one. Exceptional serrations! The root is an excellent white color. This Megalodon was found in the Ocucate area of Peru (Miocene age). Note -  the "root ears"on the root and the exceptionally large serrations - Miocene traits.  One of the finest examples of a classic Peruvian Miocene Megalodon tooth considering the shape, color, and preservation. An incredible Top Quality Megalodon tooth from Georgia and a June 2018 Fossil of the Month. The crown has a fantastic charcoal gray with light gray and black serrations. The crown also has a very unique wide” spade-like” shape. The enamel is the Highest Quality; glass-like with few hydration cracks! An exceptional, extra large black bourlette – nearly perfect. Razor sharp serrations including an exceptional tip serration. Nearly perfect serrations! The root is nicely articulated, brown colored, and complete. This Georgia Meg is very special – a real “looker”. Definitely a Miocene age Meg tooth with small Chubutensis like bumps at the base of the crown and grooves along the edge of the root lobes. Note - these Georgia Megs are fantastic - essentially no sign of wear and excellent preservation. You would think that these Georgia teeth were collected from a land site with the degree of perfection that they exhibit. A near Perfect Meg tooth. An exceptional collector's Megalodon tooth from Georgia. M040           Size: 3-7/16"   (2-5/8" W)

A very rare, Otodus aksuaticus tooth from the copper-red site of No. Carolina. The crown has coarse serrations over the lower 2/3 of crown that disappear in the top 1/3 of crown. The side cusps are typical of the Otodus obliquus. Complete root. Early Eocene - Ypresian age. A very rare collector's tooth. Very few Otodus aksuaticus teeth found at this site!
