Hemipristis serra (Miocene)

This catalog contains exceptionally large teeth from Hemipristis serra, the Snaggle Tooth shark. H. serra teeth are noted for their wide variation between upper and lower jaw teeth. The majority of the H. serra teeth exhibit very pronounced serrations. These teeth are from the Miocene Hawthorne Fm. (15 million years ago).
