A  TOP Quality Chubutensis tooth - an upper jaw tooth from So. Carolina. Otodus chubutensis or Chubutensis is the extinct ancestor of the Megalodon shark. An excellent Gray colored crown. A "Bitten"  Megalodon tooth from Georgia - an upper jaw anterior tooth. The crown has a nice Tan color. The enamel is the High Quality with small hydration cracks. An excellent dark brown colored bourlette which is near complete. Razor sharp serrations including a good tip serration. Note  - this tooth has a pathologic notch in the cutting due to biting a dislodged tooth (see close up photo).
