Chile Fossil Shark Teeth
Buried Treasure Fossils offers incredible shark teeth from the Caldera phosphate mining area of the Atacama Desert, near Copiapo in north central Chile. They date from lower Pliocene Bahia Inglesa Formation to the upper Miocene (approx. 4-6 million years ago). The shark teeth exhibit fantastic coloration, preservation, and condition. Another December 2017 Fossil of the Month.This ULTRA RARE, MONSTER sized Great White tooth measures ~2-3/4" - a huge upper jaw PRINCIPAL ANTERIOR tooth. Highest quality enamel! Excellent color.
