A TOP QUALITY Arcophoca longirostris seal jaw from the Bahia Inglesa Fm., Copiapo, Chile. An August Fossil of the Month. Arcophoca is a late Miocene age seal. This jaw (mandible) is complete with a perfect canine and 4 molars. There are multiple cracks in the jaw that were glued / stabilized without filler. Great preservation and color. A RARE, Top Quality juvenile Araripesuchus wegenari crocodile tooth from the Kem Kem beds of Morocco. A scarce rooted tooth. Incredible detail and color. Note - the Araripesuchus has a flattened crown which gives it a flattened oval profile when viewed from the base. Thought to have a mixed diet that may have included vegetation. These crocodile teeth are middle Cretaceous epoch, Cenomanian stage (96 million years ago). An exceptional collector's tooth. No repair. No restoration.
