A rare EXTRA LARGE, Top Quality Heterodontus dorsal spine - the Horn shark from the Sharktooth Hill area, near Bakersfield, California. This big spine specimen is still attached to its original Round Mountain silt matrix with a 2-1/4" whale ear bone. These Heterodontus spines only occasionally fossilize and they are quite rare. A great defensive weapon for the Horn shark! No repair or restoration. Authenticity guaranteed. The Sharktooth deposits produce the largest and best fossil Horn shark spines. This huge spine makes a fantastic Sharktooth Hill display piece!

An Ultra Rare, Hexanchus griseus tooth from the Sacaco area of Peru. This is complete lower jaw tooth. Superb preservation and color. Ten very large and sharp primary cusps. An excellent complete root that has a crack, but the crown never cracked. No repair or restoration. A Rare, "Hubbell" type baby Peruvian Megalodon tooth from the Ocucate area of Peru (Miocene age) with great color. An This Megalodon has an incredible tan, blue & brown colored crown. The root is a nice brown color and complete. Great color! High quality enamel. The serrations are razor sharp and 100% complete with an excellent tip serration. A rare Top Quality Carcharomodus escheri, a "serrated Mako" shark tooth - upper jaw anterior tooth from the "De Kuilen" sand pit, Mill, The Netherlands. The Carcharomodus escheri  was named as a new genus in 2015 based upon a crenulated cutting edge ("wavy serrations"), slender & distally inclined crown, and side cusplets. This is a "Blue" layer tooth which are know for the highest preservation and best color - rarely seen outside of Europe. This tooth has excellent color and preservation. Sharp cutting edge. Two side cusplets. The age is late Miocene (approx. 6-8 million years ago). An excellent rare collector's tooth. Authenticity guaranteed. A difficult tooth to source.
