Highest quality enamel. Excellent color! The bourlette is large and 100% complete. The serrations are razor sharp and complete (5 serrations with minor damage) with an excellent large tip serration. Exceptional serrations for a BIG Meg. The root on the display side is excellent burgundy color and on the reverse side there is some pitting which is common for these Megs. Miocene Age. This Megalodon has an incredible Golden Orange colored crown with light brown highlights, and the brown & orange colored bourlette exhibits a "Tiger Eye" effect. Fantastic color! Highest quality enamel. The bourlette is large and 98% complete. The serrations are razor sharp and complete with an excellent "needle-like" tip serration. Exceptional serrations. "The Best of West Java". An ultra rare, TOP QUALITY Megalodon - upper jaw anterior tooth anterior from West Java, Indonesia. A May Fossil of the Month. This Megalodon has an excellent red-brown colored crown with incredible patterns and a red & gold colored bourlette ("tiger eye" pattern). Note - the darker brown shades arcing out towards the serrations - a display of the "fountain pattern" which is unique to West Java. I have never seen this color pattern in a Meg tooth before. Highest quality enamel. Fantastic color! The serrations are razor sharp with an excellent big tip serration and essentially complete. Incredible serrations for a BIG Meg tooth. The root is nicely articulated complete with some pits on the non-display side. Miocene Age. No repair or restoration. Authenticity Guaranteed.
